Description
Just down from the Met and the Guggenheim is a classy spot for a proper, three-tiered tea, held in a room adorned with fanciful murals painted by picture book illustrator-author Ludwig Bemelmans. There a kid can feel like the glamorous NYC tot she (or he) is, while listening to pianist Tina Varone set the famed books to music and digging into treats such as petite banana splits Fontainebleau, cupcakes and scones. Reservations required. Ages 3 to 12.
