Description
Brooklyn may be a long way from Africa, but you wouldn’t know it from watching this show. In honor of the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge, the showcase’s artistic director is spanning the geographic gap between artistic communities. Troupes from Gambia and Bed-Stuy appear on tonight’s performance lineup. Expect North American folk music and dance as well as African, Caribbean and Brazilian works. Ages 5 and up.
