Night of a Thousand Gowns

The Imperial Court of New York’s big annual fund-raiser is one of the season’s most dazzling spectacles. Expect to see lots of sequins, feathers, precious metals and anything else that can be incorporated into a glamorous look. Emperor XXV Tree and Empress XXX Sugar B. Real reign over the proceedings, which include performances and appearances by honorees Sir Ian McKellen and Dustin Lance Black. This year's beneficiaries are the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund.
