Artist statement
The Mighty CCI House Band, a core group of musicians often heard at CCI's "Serial Underground" at the Cornelia Street Cafe, perform politically relevant contemporary compositions. Guest participants include such new music luminaries as Kathleen Supove, Jenny Lin, Miguel Frasconi, Chris McIntyre, Kevin James, Ann Milosavljevic, Miranda Sielaff, Motoko Shimizu, Stephanie Griffin, Robyn Siwula, plus ensembles Newspeak, Squeezebox, SONYC string orchestra, and Spin -17.
