"Maurizio Cattelan: All," at Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
Cattelan—a fave of Greek super-collector Dakis Joannou—gets the full-blown retrospective treatment in this Gugg survey. On tap will be the cartoonish, hyperreal sculptures—Hitler kneeling in prayer, for instance, or the Pope struck down by a meteorite—that earned the Italian artist his rep as the bad boy of relational aesthetics. (guggenheim.org). Nov 4--Jan 22.
