The 4x4 Fest features four hour-long Baroque concerts exploring the work of the period's leading composers and their contemporaries. Monday's program focuses on Continental composers working in England. On Tue 28, festival director Avi Stein and violinist Robert Mealy perform a recital. On Thu 30, the theme is "Love in the Time of War"; and Fri 31's "Bach and Before" focuses on major works by Bach, his peers and his predecessors.
