An indie-rock supergroup of sorts that takes pretty much all its cues from the Beatles' early-’60s material, Bambi Kino features Nada Surf drummer Ira Elliot, Cat Power bassist Erik Paparazzi, sometime Guided by Voices guitarist Doug Gillard and Maplewood six-stringer Mark Rozzo. Here the band cobills with other local luminaries at a benefit for Windsor Terrace's P.S. 154.
