Bambi Kino + Emily and the Complexes

An indie-rock supergroup of sorts that takes pretty much all its cues from the Beatles' early-’60s material, Bambi Kino features Nada Surf drummer Ira Elliott, Cat Power bassist Erik Paparazzi, sometime Guided by Voices guitarist Doug Gillard and Maplewood six-stringer Mark Rozzo. If you go in for that peppy, mop-topped retro-rock thing, this will be right up your alley.
