Art-rock collective Book of Knots has released three concept albums: the first, an ode to rotting seaside towns; the second about the underside of the American Rust Belt; and the third, the aeronautically oriented Garden of Fainting Stars, which features Blixa Bargeld and Mike Patton. Expect to hear from across the catalog tonight on a bill that also features Ipecac Recordings associates Skeleton Key offering dark, bluesy alt rock, and Dawn McCarthy's gorgeous Faun Fables (McCarthy's is the river-clear voice you hear duetting with Bonnie "Prince" Billy's on the recent Everly Brothers tribute What the Brothers Sang).
