Brendan Canning is a founding member of beloved indie-pop Canucks Broken Social Scene, who started up his new band Cookie Duster last year. He shares a Merc Lounge bill here with bewitching, clear-toned NYC songbird Holly Miranda (whose 2010 album, The Magician's Private Library, was produced by TV on the Radio's David Sitek).
