Caroline Smith, who fronts folky Minneapolis indie-rock outfit the Good Night Sleeps, sings in a stylized, Joanna Newsom–y lilt over deliciously neat Phoenix-style beats. Tonight she plugs her new album, Half About Being a Woman; the video to the single "Magazine" features a bunch of ladies dancing really happily in their underwear and eating pie, which is a fine thing by us.
