Chilly Gonzales—real name: Jason Beck—is a rapper, pianist, producer, classical composer and winner of the Guinness World Record for the longest live solo performance. The Canadian artist has designated himself a "musical genius" in more than one interview—though modesty is clearly not one of his qualities, his work is strangely groovy. He'll be performing his Piano Concerto No. 1, a Lincoln Center commission, at tonight's free gig, originally scheduled for October and delayed by Hurricane Sandy.
