Europe + Black Star Riders + The Blackfires

Bombastic Swedish pop-metal vets Europe hit town behind their respectable latest, War of Kings. The real reason we're psyched for this gig, though, is a local appearance from Black Star Riders, a band spun off from Irish hard-rock icons Thin Lizzy (and including classic-era Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham). The Killer Instinct, the Riders' latest, does an uncannily good job of channeling the Lizzy spirit and sound into a set of potent, memorable songs.
