Fort Lean traffics in liberating, rapturous garage rock, born for dive-bar jukeboxes and summer barbecues in Williamsburg. The Brooklyn five-piece—celebrating a new EP, Change Your Name, at tonight's gig—owes endless debts to the Kinks, Blur and the Vaselines, yet there’s something perfectly retro-American about it all. Helping to set the stage is local songsmith Ludwig Persik, who mixes swirly psych-folk and brooding dance pop; Chairlift's Patrick Wimberly is on the decks.
