Trumpeter Frank London, cofounder of the Klezmatics and Hasidic New Wave, unveils his biggest, most ambitious ensemble to date: the 21-piece Shekhina Big Band, in which London stirs together NYC jazzers, Latin musicians and klezmer players in order to bring lessons he learned with Jaki Byard's Apollo Stompers to the Jewish music scene.
