Atlanta garage-rock quartet Gringo Star conjures gritty Americana of the ’70s, with a healthy dose of scuzzy pop to keep listeners dancing. The band's debut album, Count Yer Lucky Stars, was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective and Deerhunter), and the group is set to release the follow-up in the spring.
