Asking a Texan about where to get good barbecue is kinda like asking a New Yorker about where to get the best bagel. But since you're a New Yorker in Austin, where was the best barbecue you ate here?
That's a complicated answer, because we heard about this place Franklin's, which is the best, that people wait in line for. But we unfortunately didn't have time to wait in line, so we couldn't get any. The best I had was at Iron Works, but Franklin's was our goal. And with whatever successes that have come our way lately, we tried to maybe cut in line, but they were like, no. Just come. And wait. So we couldn't. Franklin's, though!

Bummer that Janelle Monáe didn't make a guest appearance for "We Are Young." What's she up to this week?
She's only come out with us once, on the tour that we did together. We love Janelle. She's so busy. We don't want to impose, because she's such an amazing artist, and I'm so intimidated by her.

What was the best nonmusical thing you've done this week?
Nate, Jack and I went to a spa, and got facials and massages. [Laughs] We had two days off in the beginning of the week, so we took it easy.

Your face is glowing!
[Laughs] That's just grease.
