Jack Grace Band + Alex Battles and the Whisky Rebellion

Jack Grace has a croon that almost qualifies as velvety, but he pushes and pulls it all over the spectrum of what could be called honky-tonk country. Nicely matched support comes from Alex Battles and his Whisky Rebellion serving up a sly, catchy mix of old-fashioned country songs, outfitted with newfangled lyrics (see "Drinkin' Alone with Conan").
