Reedist Jeff Lederer, whose interests range from free jazz to Shaker "vision" songs, celebrates a new self-titled CD by his Swing n' Dix project, which draws inspiration from swing and Dixieland stylings (get it?) and features trombonist Curtis Hasselbring, tuba player Bob Stewart and drummer Matt Wilson. In the first set, singer Mary LaRose celebrates her own new CD, Reincarnation, with help from Lederer, Wilson and bassist Chris Lightcap.
