After spending a few years focused on collaborations with the Bad Plus and his James Farm bandmates, saxophone star Joshua Redman issued the sumptuous, string-bathed Walking Shadows last year.Here he scales down to a trio featuring his late-’90s/early-’00s sidemen Reuben Rogers and Gregory Hutchinson on bass and drums, respectively.
