Luke Winslow-King & His Band

New Orleans' Winslow & Co. knock out gorgeous old-timey numbers on slide guitar, washboard and upright bass; duets featuring Esther Rose are particularly delightful. The band is out on tour behind a new album, The Coming Tide, and you have two chances to check 'em out; on Sept 28 they play a lovely afternoon free fest at Madison Square Park, and on Sept 30 they hit Joe's Pub.
