This two-set weekly party night is something of an institution at S.O.B.'s, providing the opportunity to see Haitian konpa pop—a mixture of African polyrhythms, Latin beats and roots reggae—in its true, sweaty glory. Fact: Haitian President Michel Martelly started out as a musician and was a regular at this club night for a decade, playing as Sweet Micky.
