Marc Ribot's Los Cubanos Postizos + Chia's Dance Party

Downtown guitar hero Marc Ribot has enough gumption to venture from Albert Ayler to Lennon-McCartney and “St. James Infirmary” in one sitting. The musician has played behind Tom Waits, Beck and a ton of others; here, he plays Afro-Latin music with his "fake Cubans." Also on board is Chia's Dance Party, which blends Colombian marching-band sounds with subtle jazz interplay.
