Marilyn Crispell and Raymond MacDonald

Pegged early on as a Cecil Taylor–style energy player and warmly remembered for her crucial role in Anthony Braxton's landmark quartet of the late ’80s and early ’90s, pianist Marilyn Crispell has moved into a more contemplative creative phase without sacrificing a shred of her customary intensity.
