Matisyahu was once the world’s foremost Hasidic reggae star, then he shaved off his beard, cropped his mop, dyed it blond and moved from New York to L.A. But he's back—in New York, anyhow, to support last year’s live release, Live At Stubb’s, Vol. III. He's been dabbling in electronic sounds lately, but don't go trading that Hacky Sack for a glow-stick just yet—he still has plenty of the ol' sun-bleached reggae charm.
