Bluegrass picker Michael Daves may have hit new levels of recognition through his ongoing collaboration with fellow roots maverick Chris Thile (of Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek fame), but that hasn't kept him from romping through a more or less weekly residency here at Rockwood, where special guests have been known to turn up.
