British pop singer Mika is garish, gayish and fearless; for a rock musician, such impulsive audacity might become exasperating, but the effect is liberating for a pop star. His third album, The Origin of Love, is as sugary as a record can be, yet it never sounds slick, packaged or anonymous. Tonight's show is termed "an intimate evening" for fairly obvious reasons, given the venue.
