It's a momentous Mostly Mozart occasion, as the always exuberant Osmo Vänskä conducts the Festival Orchestra through Schubert's "Great" (not just good) Symphony in C major and Mozart's Symphony No. 32. Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder makes his festival debut on Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3, following his preconcert performance of two of the composer's sonatas at 7pm.
