The Bay Area art-doom institution plays for the faithful at its first local gig since 2007, airing material from last year's Honor Found in Decay. The record didn't represent any major stylistic shift for the band, but its anguished, boldly poignant epics did serve to remind us why Neurosis still ranks among the most respected outfits in the metal underground.
