Lane, a seasoned avant-jazz bassist deeply rooted in earthy groove, interprets American spirituals, blues and ballads in the company of trumpeter Roy Campbell Jr., saxist Avram Fefer and drummer Michael Wimberly. Following Lane & Co. at 9:30pm is the quartet of guitarist Omar Tamez, pianist Angelica Sanchez, bassist Ratzo Harris and drummer Lou Grassi.
