Reunited Brooklyn-via-Wisconsin trio Rainer Maria stood out in a rather male-ego-driven late-’90s scene, thanks to its sharp observations on relationships—it did take its name from a poet—and the dueling vocals of Caithlin De Marrais and Kaia Fischer. The band recently released its first album in 11 years, the satisfyingly heavy S/T. You'll be treated to some of the new tunes at this show, plus a hearty dose of circa-2000 nostalgia.
