Retribution Gospel Choir + BB&C + Nightlands

Knitting Factory, Williamsburg Tuesday February 12 2013 20:30
Retribution Gospel Choir shares two members—guitarist-vocalist Alan Sparhawk and bassist Steve Garrington—with long-running Duluth, MN, indie outfit Low, but RGC's boogie-friendly retro-rock swagger sounds a few galaxies removed from Low's slow, meandering throb. Support comes from Philly songman (and War on Drugs bassist) Dave Hartley as Nightlands, plugging a newie on Secretly Canadian, Oak Island.
