This generous free new-music series, established last year by Blair McMillen and Pam Goldberg, returns for a second run. Up first is Russian-born violist-composer Lev "Ljova" Zhurbin, who employs skills honed alongside Yo-Yo Ma, Kronos Quartet and Osvaldo Golijov in his arrangements and original compositions for his tight, swinging Kontraband.
