Stephen Gould is our titular hero in this origin tale, the third part of Wagner's Der Ring Des Nibelungen. The opera tells the story of the arrogant Siegfried's early conquests, including that of his beloved Brünnhilde, sung here by Deborah Voigt. Bryn Terfel continues his run as head god Wotan, disguised in this episode as the mysterious Wanderer. Fabio Luisi presides over the Met Orchestra.
