Gary Lightbody and his troupe in Snow Patrol have blown up on the heels of three übersuccessful albums, the latest being 2011's Fallen Empires.The Irish band has polished itself into a major touring act, one that may be a little too Coldplay-ish for some but idolized by a great many more. Lightbody & Co. share a bill with breakthrough English artist Ed Sheeran, who plays earnest acoustic guitar melodies while accompanying himself with a hip-hop-like flow. Buzzy calypso-pop outfit Jonquil joins Saturday.
