Pianist Steve Kuhn originally made his mark in fast company, playing alongside John Coltrane, Stan Getz and Chet Baker, to name but a few. But his recent trio work revels in deep, songful lyricism; expect gorgeous tunes, puckish wit and nimble reflexes in equal measure during this encounter with bassist Buster Williams and drummer Joey Baron.
