An odd double bill, this, but one you'll want to catch if you have any interest in deep global pop. Making its U.S. live debut is Terakaft, a Saharan group formed in 2001 by ex-members of Tinariwen, and certain to snare anyone hooked on the dusty desert-blues grooves of that feted outfit. Sharing the bill is Fredda, whose nostalgic cabaret-pop swing has a decidedly more urbane bent.
