For the long-running, long-jamming Allman Brothers Band, 2012 was something of a banner year: The group picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys, and honored the 40th anniversary of its iconic double album, Eat a Peach, at its annual March residency at the Beacon Theatre. Very fancy. But reliable as clockwork, Gregg Allman and his posse of ramblin’, gamblin’ men are installed uptown once again, for 2013's run of shows.
