L.A.'s the Bronx—often seen stepping out as its self-explanatory alter ego Mariachi El Bronx—does rip-roaring melodic punk, the kind that could just as easily be labeled turbocharged rock & roll as anthemic hardcore. This week the band celebrates its new full-length, the fourth in a series of self-titled releases, with a pair of sold-out local gigs.
