David Grisman, a veteran mandolinist who often worked with Jerry Garcia, has made a career out of performing his self-styled "dawg music," a fusion of bluegrass and jazz. We have high hopes for this team-up with guitarist-banjoist Del McCoury, a prominent foil to the great Bill Monroe and a crucial figure in traditional bluegrass.
