The Film-Makers' Cooperative, a venerable distributor of avant-garde cinema, stages the latest installment of its starry benefit series. This year's lineup includes avant-pop icon Laurie Anderson, pioneering experimental filmmaker Ken Jacobs—presenting a multimedia performance set to music by J.G. Thirlwell—downtown luminary John Zorn, heading up his Aleph Trio and performing along with the Wallace Berman film Aleph, and others.
