The French Correction: A Celebration of Pierre Boulez

Spectrum organizes three concerts over two nights, in tribute to modernist maestro Pierre Boulez's 90th birthday. They go straight for the rough stuff on Apr 23 with a performance of the famously assaultive Le Marteau sans Maitre. Boulez's piano music gets the spotlight during the early set on Apr 25, while the concluding performance connects Boulez pieces with other composers in his retinue (such as Stockhausen and Xenakis).
