Record collectors of a certain age will no doubt thrill to hear that Pat Fish is in town with his Jazz Butcher project. Beloved by such obscuro luminaries as Creation Records' Alan McGee, the Jazz Butcher started making indie-pop records in the early ’80s and disbanded in ’95. After playing a handful of shows in the interim, Fish and guitarist Max Eider reunited last year to make a fan-funded album, Last of the Gentleman Adventurers, in celebration of the band's 30th anniversary. And now—well, now they're here, for two NYC shows.
