Todd Rundgren's instinctive iconoclasm has kept him to smaller venues in recent years—minus his stint singing in the New Cars—which means loyalists get to see him reembrace his long-repressed guitar-hero identity in intimate environs. His most recent project focused on blues by Robert Johnson, but this evening he's leading the latest iteration of his long-running prog-pop outfit, Utopia.
