Trinity Wall Street fills the seasonal gap from Christmas to just after the New Year with a festival featuring some of New York's top early-music acts. Highlights include performances by Trinity's famous choir and orchestra in the main sanctuary and in St. Paul's Chapel, Monteverdi madrigals sung by Tenet (Dec 29), a Russian Christmas program by the Clarion Music Society (Dec 30), the Green Mountain Project at St. Mary the Virgin (Jan 2, 3; see separate listing) and a jazzy take on Bach's Goldberg Variations by pianist Dan Tepfer (Jan 5). See trinitywallstreet.org for a detailed schedule.
