Maverick guitarist and black-rock avatar Vernon Reid guest-curates the last two weeks of February at the Stone, with bookings that reflect his wide range of interests. Coming up this week are solo and quartet sets from jazz pianist Lafayette Gilchrist (Feb 15), a new collaborative project led by saxophonist Moist Paula Henderson (Feb 16), solo and string-trio projects from Mazz Swift (Feb 17), a double bill of Alex Skolnick and Henry Butler (Feb 19) and an evening with fluid power trio Harriet Tubman (Feb 20).
