Wild Nothing is Jack Tatum's deliciously dreamy, '80s-style one-man band. His gorgeous sophomore album, Nocturne, came out in August. Tatum's openers also pack a punch: He's got Montreal indie-pop collective Braids, excellent fuzzy noisemakers Weekend and krautrock-exalting Brooklyn group Forma opening Sat 20, while rising indie-punk trio Merchandise and buzzy lo-fi song man Mac DeMarco set the mood Sun 21. Note that Saturday's show is an official CMJ concert.
