Free-jazz bass master and Vision Festival patriarch William Parker hits Roulette for an impressive three-night stand. On Feb 14, Parker leads an octet, accompanying the Godard film Alphaville with his own newly conceived score. Parker and percussion shaman Milford Graves perform with Patricia Nicholson, Parker's wife and partner in the Vision Festival, on Feb 15. And on Feb 16, the bassist leads his Essential Orchestra in a new large-scale work, Inscription.
