Led by flutist Jamie Baum, five local jazz mainstays unite as Yard Byard (appearing at 9:30pm tonight) to pay tribute to the late pianist Jaki Byard, whose panoramic performances connected the dots between expressionistic free jazz and earthy swing. Pianist Diane Moser and bassist Ken Filiano duet at 8pm.
