We've known and loved harpist, keyboardist and composer Zeena Parkins for years now, largely on the strength of her work with artists like Björk, Elliott Sharp and even Courtney Love, but we've seldom had an opportunity like this one to hear her own work in a dose this concentrated. She starts out in separate duos with Mick Barr and Nate Wooley (June 25) and with Weasel Walter and Deep Singh (June 26). On June 27, Phantom Orchard, her duo with Ikue Mori, performs with guest tubist Marcus Rojas. She'll perform solo and with White Out on June 28; lead a trio with Ryan Sawyer and Ryan Ross Smith on June 29; and end her run with original chamber music inspired by lace patterns on June 30.
